Una dimora nobiliare di Finalmarina legata ai Savoia
In Finalmarina the palace that belongs to the Counts of De Raymondi in Via Ghiglieri is an example of a 18th-19th century aristocratic home.
The palace hosted numerous times the Savoy family: Queen Maria Cristina, King Carlo Felices wife, stayed there in 1835 and 1842. Then in 1836 King Carlo Alberto stayed when he stopped in Finale on his way to Nice and started the work for opening the Caprazoppa tunnel that was to allow the passage of the new coastal road.

The main façade of the palace has a large entrance with a family crest on top and from which hangs the collar of the order of San Maurizio, the most prestigious honour given by the Savoy family.
On the southern side there is a 19th century loggia that is adjacent the private chapel of the palace that is on a portico on the ground floor and has Finale stone columns.

How to reach the site
Finalmarina can be reached by car on the A10 motorway and taking the Feglino exit (if coming from Genoa, Turin or Milan) and the Finale Ligure exit (from all directions) or taking the SS1 road, Via Aurelia. There is also the train station of Finale Ligure.

The palace is private property and therefore cannot be visited.
